As shoppers left the Asda supermarket, they noticed blue police lights in the car park, as a section of the road had been closed off.
A black car, with a bullet hole in its passenger side window, was seen at the scene. West Midlands Police provided an update stating that they are investigating the incident, which involved shots fired at a car in Birmingham. They confirmed that the wounded man was sitting in the car at the time of the incident and added that their inquiries are ongoing.
